Why Cozumel

The ideal dental tourism destination

Cozumel has unique advantages that set it apart from other dental tourism destinations in Mexico.

Calm Island Setting

A small, quiet island far from the crowds of larger resort cities. The relaxed pace is ideal for recovery between appointments.

Easy to Navigate

The island is compact. The clinic, hotels, beaches, and restaurants are all within easy reach by foot, taxi, or rental bike.

Safe and Welcoming

Consistently ranked among Mexico's safest destinations. Visitors feel comfortable walking, dining out, and exploring freely.

Direct International Flights

Cozumel's international airport has direct flights from the US and Canada. Also accessible by ferry from Playa del Carmen (45 minutes).

World-Class Diving & Beaches

Home to one of the world's top coral reef systems. Between appointments, dive, snorkel, or simply relax on white sand beaches.

Cruise-Friendly Port

Cozumel is a major cruise port. If your ship docks here, schedule a same-day dental appointment and return to the pier in time.

How It Works

Your journey, step by step

1

Contact us before your trip

Share photos of your dental situation via WhatsApp or email. We will review your case and send a personalized treatment plan and cost estimate within 24 hours.

2

Plan your trip around treatment

We confirm your appointment dates so you can book flights and accommodation. We recommend hotels, share logistics tips, and prepare you for what to expect.

3

Arrive and receive care

Our bilingual team welcomes you at the clinic. We complete your diagnosis and begin treatment. Between appointments, explore the island at your own pace.

4

Recover, relax, enjoy

Most procedures have minimal recovery. Explore coral reefs, try local food, visit Mayan ruins. Your recovery doubles as a Caribbean vacation.

5

Post-treatment follow-up

We provide detailed aftercare instructions and remain available via WhatsApp for any questions after you return home. For multi-phase treatments, we coordinate your follow-up care.

Practical Information

Everything you need to know

Getting Here

Fly direct to Cozumel International Airport (CZM) from major US and Canadian cities including Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Toronto, and Chicago. Alternatively, fly to Cancún (CUN) and take a bus + ferry (under 2 hours total) or fly to Playa del Carmen and ferry across (45 minutes).

Where to Stay

Cozumel has accommodation for every budget — from beachfront all-inclusive resorts to boutique hotels and vacation rentals in the town center. Most hotels are within a short taxi ride from the clinic. We can share recommendations based on your needs and budget.

Getting Around

Taxis are abundant, safe, and inexpensive. Golf carts and scooter rentals are popular for exploring the island. Most attractions, beaches, and restaurants in San Miguel are walkable. Our clinic is easily accessible from any part of town.

Weather & What to Pack

Cozumel has a tropical climate year-round. Temperatures range from 75–90°F (24–32°C). Pack light clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes. Light rain is possible June–October. The sea is warm and calm — bring swimwear.

Visa & Entry Requirements

US and Canadian citizens can enter Mexico without a visa for tourism stays up to 180 days. A valid passport is required. A tourist card (FMM) may be issued upon arrival. No vaccinations are required. Check your country's travel advisory for the latest updates.

Language & Communication

Our entire team is bilingual in Spanish and English. We provide full support before, during, and after your treatment. Pre-trip consultations are available via WhatsApp video call. We can guide you through every step remotely before you even leave home.

Payment Methods

We accept multiple forms of payment for your convenience: USD and MXN cash, Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfers. No need to worry about currency exchange — pay in the method most comfortable for you.
